During summer 2021 Martha Hill released their third EP ‘The Dog Hearted Man’. I had the pleasure of creating the look and feel for the record and it’s individual single releases in the lead-up to the final EP release. Hill talks about nostalgia, the feelings of returning to where they grew up, and their journey to reach the person they are today; I drew on this theme of nostalgia by using collage illustration, this allowed me to stitch together different illustration techniques that visually represented the idea of the old and the new coming together to form one’s present self.
